BIO: I grew up in a small town (Bentley Creek, PA) near Elmira, NY in the Finger Lakes region of New York State. I quickly realized unless I wanted to milk cows or work as a Walmart greeter, I should probably move. Besides... as the oldest of six kids, my siblings needed my bedroom. Eventually, I ended up in New York City where I assisted many of the best shooters in the biz. To this day, I think that NYC is the greatest city in the world, bar none. My strong work ethic comes from the country, and my creative urges from the buzz of the big city. Not a bad thing... Moved to Pittsburgh in 1985 to take advantage of a great airport, FedEx, roach-free living quarters, and opportunities for corporate annual report clients.

EDUCATION: I have a photography degree from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh where I graduated in 1978. Assisting over 80 photographers before I opened my studio didn't hurt either. I also hold a doctorate degree from the School of Hard Knocks.

DEMEANOR: I'm a pretty easy person to get along with. I try to have as much fun as possible on assignment while striving to produce the best job for my client. My shoots are well organized as time is money, and I manage production budgets responsibly. With extensive corporate experience, I'm comfortable in corporate boardrooms, and you'll never catch me using the CEO's private bathroom...
